Dep-ed Apayao gets 65 new ICT devices to support teachers, learners

Luna, Apayao - Using part of the 3.7 million subsidy from the Provincial Government of Apayao (PGA), Department of Education (DepEd) Apayao purchased brand new Information and Communication Technology (ICT) devices which were inspected last February 10, 2023 at Provincial Government Center, Luna.

Said devices consisted 33 units of laptop, two units of desktop and 30 units tablet PC. The aid from the PGA was warmly welcomed by the DepEd Apayao as it will provide much-needed support to learners and teachers who are currently grappling with the challenges posted by blended learning and resumption of face-to-face classes.

This move is one of the PGA and DepEd Apayao's collaboration in theor commitment to social responsibility and their desire to help bridge the digital divide that has long affected many yApayao learners.

The ICT devices will be used for various purposes such as online classes, research, and communications.

Among the said equipment, 30 units of tablet PC will be given to the Apayao Science High School (ASHS).

ASHS Principal Danilo Cudiamat thanked the PGA and DepEd Apayao for the extensive support given to tjem.
