Apayao receives .2M financial aid from LandBank


Luna, Apayao - The Province of Apayao has recently received a financial assistance in response to the impact of Typhoon Egay which struck the province last July.


Said assistance, totaling Php 200,000, was awarded earlier today, on September 26, 2023, at the Provincial Governor's Office.


The Corporate Affairs Department at the Central Head Office of Land Bank, in collaboration with the Luna Branch under the leadership of Branch Manager Michael Dela Cruz, took the initiative to provide this support.



The Calamity Assistance Program (CAP) aims to offer aid to families and individuals affected by calamities or disasters. This assistance is channeled through various channels, including Local Government Units (LGUs), direct assistance to affected individuals, support for health facilities, and authorized agencies and entities dedicated to addressing the needs of the province and its communities during times of calamities, disasters, or medical emergencies.


The assistance was received by Provincial Administrator Atty. Edmar Pascua and OIC Provincial Treasurer Ms. Wilma Ikitan.
