Luna, Apayao - Eleven aspiring bakers started their training in Bread and Pastry Production (BPP) National Certificate II course at the Apayao Training Center (ATC) on February 13, 2024.
The program blends theoretical lectures with practical demonstrations, equipping learners with essential skills vital for excelling in the baking industry. From mastering pastry-specific techniques to handling contemporary baking tools and adhering to safety protocols, participants are expected to thrive in their culinary pursuits.
Concurrently, seventeen (17) individuals commenced their training on the Electrical Installation and Maintenance (EIM) NC II course on February 13.
With focus on safety and efficiency, participants undergo specialized instruction to operate electrical systems proficiently, minimizing the inherent risks associated with electrical work.
The BPP NC II program requires 22 days, while the EIM NC II program extends to 28 days. Funding for these training initiatives is provided by the Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA) through the Tulong Trabaho Scholarship Program (TTSP).
Upon completion of their respective courses, participants undergo a certification process, ensuring they meet industry standards. This certification not only validates their competency but also enhances their marketability to prospective employers, both locally and internationally, who seek skilled and certified professionals in their respective fields.
